i'm currently working on a giant print/series of small prints inspired by my recent trip to canada. i am planning a big montage of all the beautiful and inspirational things that i saw on my travels. i have stared with a drawing of a chickadee. this used to be my grandma's pet name for my sisters and i, so i was delighted to find out that it was actually a real little bird. i have been looking at the illustrations of eric ravillious and edward bawden for cross hatching inspiration! more to come soon...
