i love text, i'm a geek!

another little gem from main street in vancouver. i dropped by the regional assembly of text on the recommendation of an illustrator friend. i wasn't disappointed, i could have spent hours in there. they have loads of kooky and reasonably priced merchandise, a gallery of handmade artists books and pin badge making machine. it was also decorated with bunting and retro typewriters, what a place! they run a monthly letter writing evening where they provide the materials so you can pen a letter to a loved one. yeah, some people still write letters!
